PREHISTORIC SETTLEMENTS AND BUILDINGS IN GREECE AND IN CYPRUS

Positions of Prehistoric Settlements in Greece.

National Archeological Museum of Athens

The first residential buildings in Greece
are estimated to have been built
during the Paleolithic period, around
20000 BC. These were huts. During
the Neolithic period (7000-3500 BC)
the inhabitants of the Greek area
 began to settle in permanent
 settlements engaged in agriculture.
Then the "property of the land" begins
to exist.
